Income thresholds

35 of 55 schemes state a minimum income, in 9 different currencies. We do not convert between currencies, so the two charts below group schemes by the currency the government uses. A yearly rule is divided by 12 to sit beside monthly ones. In US dollars the range is $1,500 a month (Brazil) to $8,333 (Cayman Islands); in euros it is €2,066 (Italy) to €4,213 (Latvia). Method

Source: our digital nomad visa tracker, 55 schemes, each field linked to an official government, embassy or immigration page and dated; checked 2026-10-02. A field is blank when the official page did not state it or could not be read, and blanks are never treated as zero. Amounts are stored as stated in the source currency; nothing is converted. Medians use only schemes that state the figure in that currency. Some status values rest on pages that do not date themselves, and some sources blocked automated readers, so the tracker's gaps list applies. This is general information, not immigration advice. Figures are recomputed each time the site is built. Related: the visa guides, destinations and the Schengen 90/180 calculator. Data files: JSON and CSV (CC BY 4.0, link back).
